Welcome. For nearly 20 years I have written and spoken about the spirituality of caring for elders — full credentials here. More recently, life has drawn me to those most marginalized in society - prisoners (mostly of color) in prolonged solitary confinement in California. My work has taken on a more urgent tone of deep exploration of what it means to be human — the beauty of everyone's true nature beyond conditioning, beliefs, and fear.
I'm a multi-award-winning writer nominated twice for the Pulitzer Prize and have been interviewed by major media including the Today show.
